On your wedding day you need beautiful makeup for photos, video, a large
audience, and up-close and personal. A Bride's makeup needs to look great
outdoors in bright sunlight, as well as indoors and evening lighting. Choosing a makeup artist with experience in

Makeup is a very personal thing - it is an expression

When I meet a bride for a trial/consultation before
her wedding - I talk to her. Do you wear red lipstick every day? Pink gloss? Or,
are you a Burt's Bees girl? I get a sense of her style and personality and listen
to what she envisions for herself on her wedding day. Then, I begin the makeup
application.
The Bride's wedding dress plays a
pivotal role - it sets the stage. Is the dress beaded? Satin? Classic or Modern?
White? or Ivory?
Is your style Whimsical? Romantic? Or, more Formal?
I will ask about the decor of the room, the color of the flowers, the wardrobe
of the bridal party and the time of the event. Bring along any photographs,
magazine articles, fabric swatches, or whatever inspires you. Feel free to check
out my Pinterest boards and pin wedding makeup looks that you like, and I can get an
idea of your makeup style. This is a great way to put a face on your ideas.
All these elements, combined with skin tone, and hair color - are the factors that decide the
finished look.
During my career as a makeup artist, I have done the
faces of countless models and industry professionals, but, I have to say, that
nothing gives me more personal satisfaction than making a bride feel confident
and beautiful on her wedding day.
